Summer Camp is fully enrolled for 2026!

Summer Camp

After careful consideration NCCP has decided not to run camp this summer as the health and safety of everyone in our community is important to us.

We hope that you will keep us in mind for next summer!

Summer Camp

Enrollment for our summer camp is not a guarantee. There are 26 spots available per session, on a first-come, first-served basis!

New Canaan Community Preschool offers a wonderful preschool summer camp that is run by our preschool teachers! Join us as we explore a variety of exciting topics in our outdoor space, which includes two playgrounds, a garden, and a Nature Path. Campers cool down daily during
sprinkler time!

We offer 1-week camp sessions from mid-June through July. Each session meets Monday – Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. with a special focus on a theme. A four-day or a five-day option is available. Children who are three by June 1st of the current year and are potty-trained are eligible to attend summer camp.

2026 Topics

Week One Nature Navigators
(June 15 – 19)

Feel the dirt under your hands as we work in NCCP’s garden, caring for seedlings and watching our garden grow. The children will also have the opportunity to explore our Nature Path to listen for the sounds of nature while searching for different bugs and birds.

Week Two – The Art of Printmaking
(June 22 – June 26)

During the week, campers will learn the art of printmaking as they discover how to make mono-prints using a variety of materials, including potatoes, styroform trays, foil, nature, recycled materials, and more!

Week Three – Life on the Shoreline
(July 6 – 10)

Buckets, shovels, water, and sand can only mean one thing…summertime fun! Join us at the “beach” while we explore sandcastles, seashells, water-play, and sea creatures. Pack your bathing suit and shades and join us for some fun in the sun!

Week Four – It’s Not a Box
(July 13 – 17)

A box is just a box…unless it’s not a box. The children will visit the “Creation Station” to build extraordinary things out of cardboard boxes. By using the power of their imagination and various materials, the possibilities are endless! Is it a fort? Is it a sailboat? Or is it just a box?
