Summer Camp
After careful consideration NCCP has decided not to run camp this summer as the health and safety of everyone in our community is important to us.
We hope that you will keep us in mind for next summer!
Summer Camp
Priority registration is given to current and incoming NCCP families. Any available spaces will be open to the public on Monday, March 4th.
Enrollment for our summer camp is not a guarantee. There are 26 spots available per session, on a first-come, first-served basis!
New Canaan Community Preschool offers a wonderful preschool summer camp that is run by our preschool teachers! Join us as we explore a variety of exciting topics in our outdoor space, which includes two playgrounds, a garden, and a Nature Path. Campers cool down daily during
sprinkler time!
We offer 1-week camp sessions from mid-June through July. Each session meets Monday – Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. with a special focus on a theme. A four-day or a five-day option is available. Children who are three by June 1st of the current year and are potty-trained are eligible to attend summer camp.

2024 Topics
Week One – Space Adventure
(June 17 – 21)
3, 2, 1,.. Blast off! Step into your space suit, buckle your seatbelt, and start up your rocket ship as we travel to outer space. Learn about the planets, stars and galaxy that is beyond our reach. Help build a space station, construct a rocket ship, and create planets as you become a certified astronaut at the NCCP Space Camp!
Week Two – The Art of Printmaking
(June 24 – June 28)
During the week, campers will learn the art of printmaking as they discover how to make mono-prints using a variety of materials, including potatoes, styrofoam trays, foil, nature, recycled materials, and more!
Week Three – Let’s Be Scientists
(July 8 – 12)
Grab your goggles and lab coat! Throughout the week there will be explosions, creations, and discoveries. The children will learn how science can help us better understand the world around us.
Week Four – Life on the Shoreline
(July 15 – 19)
Pack your beach bag, put on your sunscreen and bathing suit to join us for some exploration by the seashore. Learn about the many creatures that inhabit the vast underwater world of the ocean. Build sandcastles, hunt for seashells, enjoy water play and engage in art experiences down at the NCCP beach.
