Summer Camp
After careful consideration NCCP has decided not to run camp this summer as the health and safety of everyone in our community is important to us.
We hope that you will keep us in mind for next summer!

Summer Camp
Priority registration is given to current and incoming NCCP families. Any available spaces will be open to the public on Monday, March 13th.
Enrollment for our summer camp is not a guarantee. There are 26 spots available per session, on a first-come, first-served basis!
New Canaan Community Preschool offers a wonderful preschool summer camp that is run by our preschool teachers! Join us as we explore a variety of exciting topics in our outdoor space, which includes two playgrounds, a garden, and a Nature Path. Campers cool down daily during
sprinkler time!
We offer 1-week camp sessions from mid-June through July. Each session meets Monday – Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. with a special focus on a theme. A four-day or a five-day option is available. Children who are three by June 1st of the current year and are potty-trained are eligible to attend summer camp.

2023 Topics
Week One – Dance Party NCCP
(June 19 – 23)
This week is dedicated to the classic songs of 1950. The children will be dancing and singing to songs such as the “Twist, “Shout” “Lollipop” and “Rock Around the Clock”. These may be oldies, but these will always be goodies. This is one party your child is not going to want to miss!
Week Two – Red Paint, Blue Paint, I Paint, You Paint
(June 26 – June 30)
Splattering! Mixing! Brushing! We will be exploring the gooey, glorious world of paint this week. Some mediums of paint that we will use are tempera, fingerpaint and watercolor. Your budding artist will experiment with paint to create various masterpieces, using all the colors of the rainbow.
Week Three – It’s a Bugs Life
(July 10 – 14)
Enter the world of bugs as we discover that there are many different types, sizes, shapes and colors of bugs. Learn how and why spiders spin webs, what makes a ladybug beneficial to the garden and how bees make honey.
Week Four – Let’s Go to the Beach
(July 17 – 21)
Pack your beach bag, put on your sunscreen and bathing suit so you can join us for some fun and exploration by the seashore. Learn about the many creatures that inhabit the vast underwater world of the ocean. Come build sandcastles, enjoy water play and engage in art experiences at the NCCP beach.
